Why would you spend hard earned money to unlock your iphone when you can do it yourself, within 10 minutes… FREE?
Good question right? Its pretty simple if you follow our step by step guide to find out how…
Step by Step guide:

Pre-Req: Sync your phone to iTunes and make sure you have a recent backup. The backups can be found under iTunes -> Preferences -> Syncing

1. Turn off your iPhone.
2. Hold down the power and home button.
3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button
4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.
5. Download the custom firmware from here

Note: On that link there is a place where you will need to type in 3 letters and click download. You will then have to wait 45 seconds for the download to begin.

6. In iTunes click Restore while holding the option key if you are on a Mac. If you are on Windows click Restore while holding the SHIFT key. This will allow you to browse for a file. The file you are looking for is the custom firmware you just downloaded.  Select that firmware (.ipsw) and it should begin restoring. After the restore is complete you will ask if you want to set it up as a new iPhone or restore from a backup, chose restore from a backup. Once that is complete you should have 2.0 with it jailbroken and unlocked.
